We instructed HS Wood flooring to install wooden floors in our front and rear reception rooms leading to the step down into our kitchen diner. The work completed by HS Wood Floorings team was of an exceptionally high standard throughout. The quality of the finish and attention to detail were excellent, and we are extremely pleased with the final result.
In addition to the workmanship itself, both installers were professional, considerate, and reliable during the project. Communication was consistently good they kept us informed regarding arrival times, progress of the work, including updates relating to the delivery and fitting of the final nosing detail for the step down to the kitchen, which was greatly appreciated.
The job was successfully completed on time and the site was managed well throughout. We have additional rooms that we plan to have wooden flooring laid next year and we will definitely be using HS Wood Flooring for that project.

Tim came to site to look at the works and provided a comprehensive quote. I had 45m2 of 20mm engineered oak installed and I love it. Memo plus colleague (apologies didn't catch his name) doing the install were great. I supplied all materials. Works included: cleaning between joists, insulating with 100mm RWA45 acoustic insulation, levelling joists with firing strips, applying 4mm acoustic isolation strip to joists, installing 18mm plywood, 12mm acoustic matt, and finally the floor finish. Performs very well acoustically, feels really solid (much better than my squeaky floor boards previously) and looks great. Thanks guys!

We installed a stunning herringbone parquet floor with insulation and sound proofing into an Edwardian mansion block in west London. The lead floor fitter, Memo was an artisan and an absolute delight to work with. All communications and customer service with HS Wood Flooring were smooth and professional making a challenging project a very positive experience. We would definitely work with HS Wood Flooring again and would recommend to anyone looking for a superior finish and a fantastic end result!

I had a few firms in to quote for sanding, repairing and staining my wooden floor. Some were real cowboys.HS were the best of the lot- Tim came round, listened to what I wanted, measured and checked, and sent me an itemised quote promptly, which we then discussed and customised. Then Dylan came round to do the work. Both very professional, friendly and polite. Expected the work to take three days, but Dylan worked late and finished it in two, checking with me all the way through as to choice of stain and finishes. Definitely made the right choice with this firm, and would use them again.

We had our new hardwood floor installed by H.S Wood Flooring and couldnt recommend it more highly. Everything from the communication to the final result was fantastic. Danny was at hand to answer any questions we had throughout the project. The installer, Zee, worked tirelessly hour after after to ensure that we got the best possible result we could hope for while being able to stick to our tight schedule. The price was incredibly competitive given the standard of the end result. We couldnt have asked for me and are thrilled with our new floor. 10/10 for quality, value, professionalism, responsiveness, time keeping and the end product.
