Green's Furnishings is a soft furnishing, carpet and flooring shop located in the village of Kirkheaton on the outskirts of Huddersfield. Established in 1973, we are a family business that aims to provide a wide range of furnishing products with quality service at competitive prices. We have a large selection of curtains, blinds, fabrics, curtain poles, carpets, underlay and all types of flooring to choose from.
We have styles to suit everyone from traditional to contemporary and children's collections. Our Huddersfield showroom boasts a large selection of fabrics. Fabrics are displayed as larger samples, often made up as a mini curtain. You can touch and feel the fabric, and samples can be borrowed, helping you to envisage the fabrics made up at your window.

Greens Furnishings is a family run soft furnishings, carpet and flooring business based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The business was established in 1973, by Richard's father.
It was originally called "Kirklees Karpets" as the local council was newly named around the same time.
Despite this, the shop is nothing to do with the council.
The name was changed to "Kirklees Carpets and Curtains" in the 1980's, as curtains were a large part of the business even 25 to 30 years ago.
Subsequently, the name was changed to "Greens Furnishings", in 2005, to reflect the wider range of products we supply, like blinds, cushions, flooring, curtain rails and poles.

At Greens Furnishings we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and workmanship.
Our on site / in house workroom enables us to have total control of the making up process for all our soft furnishings.
We use top quality workroom materials (linings, threads, curtain tapes etc.) as these all contribute to how curtains / blinds hang and perform.

We supply and fit both bay window curtain poles and tracks.
Many bays are not suitable or practical for curtain poles, whereas there is almost always a solution with a bay curtain track.
A track is simpler and tends to blend in more with its surroundings, but you make more of a feature by using a pole.
In our opinion, for a bay, if the track/pole has to be fixed to the ceiling then we think a track is the best solution.
If you have an unusual bay window, or indeed any other unusual window, it is often easiest to send a few photos and one or two dimensions for us to advise and give a rough costing of a solution.
Many bays are not suitable or practical for curtain poles, whereas there is almost always a solution with a bay curtain track.
