We craft our Heritage Oak flooring from locally sourced Cornish and Devon Oak trees, cherished for their character and undulating texture. The epitome of country-chic, this rustic oak flooring rolls and glides to emphasise the essence of the grain, with larger knots, rare cats paws and medullary rays only adding to its authentic beauty. Your first steps on Heritage Oak will surprise you. Despite its aged and textured appearance, its anything but rough, retaining a luxurious silky feel welcomed by bare feet. The perfect choice of rustic oak flooring for older, listed buildings and those with a story to tell. Enjoy the look of a reclaimed floor with the ease of simple laying and guaranteed aftercare advice for you Heritage Oak flooring.
Classic Oak Flooring Classic Oak Flooring
Experience timeless elegance with our Classic Oak flooring, boasting wide floorboards of up to 350mm. Sourced from coveted English Oak trees, its inviting honey and pale straw hues seamlessly complement any interior. Delight in the playful character brought by small knots, occasional cats paws, and medullary rays, while the smooth, planed boards exude a glossy, polished finish. At Coppice & Crown, we prioritize durability by utilizing the heartwood of English Oak, minimizing sapwood content to ensure longevity, making it ideal for bustling family homes.
Ash Flooring Ash Flooring
Our luxury Ash wood flooring, cultivated in England, boasts a natural light hue with lovely pale shades that effortlessly illuminate any room. Unlike our solid Oak flooring, our Ash variant features fewer knots, yet its subtle blush and olive undertones, along with occasional darker ribbons, impart abundant character and depth. These darker ribbons, characteristic of British-grown Ash flooring, serve as a unique emblem of locality and sustainability within your flooring.
Chestnut Flooring Chestnut Flooring
Experience the allure of our coveted Chestnut flooring, featuring delicate straw hues complemented by occasional hints of decadent chocolate undertones that gracefully flow across each plank. With its captivating grain pattern, this flooring exudes charm, creating an inviting ambiance that seamlessly integrates with any environment, effortlessly harmonizing with various wood types. Embracing simplicity, Chestnut flooring is favored for its enduring elegance, lending a timeless charm to diverse settings, whether bustling family residences or contemporary workspaces. Opting for Chestnut over oak flooring offers a refined choice, with its subdued nature and lighter appearance, contrasting with oak's more rugged charm characterized by knots and distinctive features.
Wood Panelling
In addition to our Oak, Ash & Chestnut hardwood flooring, Coppice & Crown is delighted to offer bespoke wood panelling. Add a country farmhouse feel to your kitchen with internal wood cladding, create period-style wood panelling in your boot room, or even lay our wood cladding wall to ceiling for cosy wood cabin appeal. Choose from English grown Ash or Chestnut for your wood panelling with the confidence that youre fitting a British grown, sustainable panelling choice. Well work to your dimensions, carefully crafting the perfect wood cladding to beautify your barn conversion, period property, contemporary home or office space. All of our cladding choices are made using the finest quality British hardwoods, so we can guarantee their durability and longevity over a softwood board such as Pine.

Polly & Tom of Coppice & Crown were extremely helpful, and quick to respond to any query I had. The product arrived quickly and is a gorgeous, high quality piece. Even with a sample, you can see the care taken to create a high quality product and maintain the character of looked after timber. I will definitely be revisiting Coppice & Brown in the future.

I have used Coppice and Crown/UK Hardwoods supplied timber for a couple of years now and the quality is spectacular, I love that it is all UK grown timber. The character oak flooring is beautiful and truly characterful. They are a really lovely team of people having worked for them a couple of years ago on their mill. Would thoroughly recommend getting in touch with them if you're after quality sustainable timber!

We are absolutely in love with our floor from Coppice & Crown. We went for the Scot's pine in favour of a Dinesen look, and with a couple of coats of Osmo white tint it honestly looks amazing for a fraction of the price. AND it's from the UK so no unnecessary transportation. Polly was so helpful and had loads of advice to give when I was struggling to choose. We'll be back when we do our loft in due course! Couldn't recommend more highly.

We came across Polly & Tom's company when we were searching for timber to sensitively replace flooring and doors in our 18th Century cottage. The Heritage Timber they supplied was perfect - traditional, square edged, random width boards full of character, texture and interest. The floors feel great underfoot, the doors are beautiful and substantial and both will go on to look better and better with time. Polly and Tom were great to deal with, they really know their stuff and the timber was fairly priced. We will certainly turn to Coppice & Crown for any future purchases and would happily recommend them to others.

Tom and Polly were incredibly helpful and efficient from the word go. We were told when the order would arrive and the schedule was followed without a blip; superb communication. Advice, when asked for, was promptly given concerning laying the floors, finishing and sealing of the 'heritage oak'. Most importantly the floors, main room and bathroom, look terrific. Alex Wilson
